'The Run' - Sydney, Australia
[taken by me] circa. 2018
monochrome
This is personally one of my favourite shots.
I captured this one winter evening as an older gentleman jogged alone; his path behind him appears well lit, with only a little left in his journey.
To me, it's a reminder that Art serves a more potent purpose than simply to please an audience.
It offers expression and reflection of the human condition; that we may find some insight into the lesser lit corners of the soul.
Sometimes these moments are bleak... difficult... a struggle... they too are worth reflecting on...this is often where we find our unique strengths.

I only have three rules for my photography:
1. It must be candid
2. I prefer monochrome
3. Avoid photoshop
